I’ve just started designing MySpace layouts and glitter graphics and I want to share them. Whatever idea pops into my head that day, I’ll make a layout about it.
Hi nosysnoop,
I read your helpful advice in the WordPress forums all the time. I wanted to ask you a question but didn’t where to post it so I’ll just post it here. You had suggested that to increase traffic, newbies should register with Submit Express. I did this, and at the end of the registration it instructed me to “cut and paste the meta tag generator on top of your HTML page in a text editor.” Could you possibly tell me where that is? Are they talking about pasting into all my posts, and do you have to do that to get the search engine traffic? I know this isn’t where I should ask this question, but I didn’t where else to post it and you’re always so helpful to people . . .
Hello. I don’t think the code they tell you to post would work here because it might be javascript code. They ask us to post their button in our sidebar because they gave us a free service. But most usually don’t. It helps you get listed on search engines and some email you asking to verify the submission. But don’t worry about pasting anything because I don’t post them on my WordPress blogs.
I don’t know what they mean under “Comments”. I just place a few tags that go along with my blog. And see if you can get listed on someone’s blogroll that’s already listed even if it’s only for a few days.
But when I was at Blogger, I would post all these buttons of free services I used on my sidebar. It’s not in every post. But Blogger let’s you use javascript code unlike WordPress. Don’t worry about that though.
And register at Technorati. I do the post claim. I place the code they tell me in the text body and write Testing in the subject title. It should take a few seconds to a minute. And place their button on your sidebar. It’s basic html code so it’s okay to place here at WordPress.
If you need anymore help just post here. Good luck!
i have thought and thought and thought. i have finally decided to go for photobucket to host my art blog images. cos it’s fast! i never have any problem viewing images in your blog.
initially i wanted to do it in wp. and no, space wasn’t a problem, cos i could always open an account to upload images only and not do anything else there.
in the end, efficiency rules. and i would hate to hear users complain that the images they have from my blog appear so slowly.
sigh, i tried my best to avoid third party image hosting. but i need a helping hand, wp is just not enough for this!
my image hosting problem is over! i am like totally satisfied with these solutions. deviantart, artbreak and phototrade – all these sites are image sharing sites for artists/photographers AND they provide with image sharing codes AND wp is cool with ALL of them!
that means i get to showcase my work in artist sites AND in my own blog at the same time!
and of course if i ever venture into slide shows i will choose slideshare (cos it is clickable) and gosh, if i ever make videos, or channels, then youtube and splashcast will rescue me. splashcast makes me drool! did you try it? i haven’t done it technically. but i love its mashing ability.
thanks so much for extending your support while i was away from my blog! maybe everything does happen for a reason. i think it was a blessing in disguise that i was disconnected so long. how else could i withdraw myself from the net!
even though i badly needed to take up painting again, i kept on blogging and blogging and blogging. well, i intend to blog whenever possible. but when it comes to priorities, i just want to kick some ass during my last academic year!
I used to spend so much time before online to the point it was making me physically sick. But it was all new to me and I was learning so much and wanted to stay logged in as much as I could during my spare time. And having my other blog caused me even more stress and anxiety because I wanted to update many times a day so people wouldn’t be disappointed. But it took a toll on me. Just do what makes you comfortable. And school is more important!
Yes everyone can use them. Just take the codes from the posts. I don’t have copyright over the pictures. lol So there’s no copyright issues on my end. But I made them myself. I didn’t take them from other sites. I tried making them a bit different and original from other sites.

Also submit your url directly to Google:

do you think wp will be ok with photrade?
they provide codes for image sharing. furthermore, the photographer gets paid if a photo is clicked.
i could earn some money online. i will just keep my fingers crossed and ask support in a few hours.

Hi Capri,
I love your glitter graphics. They are lovely.
Can we use them on our blogs or anywhere else?
Pls let me know is there any copyright issues using them
on my blogs and sites? or simply sending them to friends?
Blessings
